Dell's Latitude E6400 is an unashamedly business-oriented notebook which owes more to the old ThinkPad design than Dell would likely care to admit. If the dearly departed Johnny Cash were still with us it is more than likely this is the kind of computer he would be using to wallop anyone unfortunate enough to have called him Sue within earshot.

Considering the small screen and cramped keyboard of the original Eee PC, the system's massive success came as something of a shock to the technology world. The follow-up, the Eee PC 901 addressed one of the general public's main concerns, namely the small screen and bumped this up to 8.9-inches, however, the cramped keyboard remained and, in what can be seen as either a slick marketing ploy on the part of Asus, or an example of the company's genuine concern for criticisms on the part of its customers, yet another model was released, this time adding another inch to the screen and more importantly, widening the keyboard to allow people to put away the Bic pen lids they had been using as finger extenders and get some work done.
