More information at: PC Pro, 1/2010 ATI Radeon HD 5670 ATI’s 'sweet spot strategy' has become a familiar tactic since the June 2008 release of the Radeon HD 4000 series. The firm’s concentration on fast and affordable parts has given it the edge over Nvidia, particularly given the latter's almost total lack of activity on the desktop. ATI’s latest card, the Radeon HD 5670, looks to continue this run of success. Single Test. One graphics card was reviewed and rated on features & design, value for money and performance. … to review

That's right. In fact, there's more than one: the Radeon HD 5830 we're testing here today and a Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition board that'll surface in March. But we'll be looking at the six-display-capable model later. Today, with the GF100-based cards from Nvidia still missing in action, it's all about the Radeon HD 5830, purported to hit a price and performance point between the Radeon HD 5770 and Radeon HD 5850. … to review

Its name, for instance, doesn’t follow the precedent set by the dual-GPU Radeon HD 3870 X2 and HD 4870 X2 cards, and it’s also the largest graphics card we've ever seen, dwarfing our test motherboard at 32cm in length and weighing a socket-endangering 1.2kg. Product information and further reviews
AMD Radeon HD 2900 XT TrustedReviews 5/2007 - The last really big Radeon launch event was back in October 2005 – back in the days when Radeons were still ATI products rather than AMD ones. The X1000 launch was hosted in Ibiza during the closing weekend, and it was one of the better Press events of its era! This time around, AMD chose a North African location to show off the latest graphics products, shipping technology journalists from all over the world to the city of Tunis in Tunisia. Unfortunately we were a bit too far away from Tatooine to visit the most wretched hive of scum and villainy for a quick drink, but I did manage to nip over to Carthage to see the ruins before having to sit through two solid days of PowerPoint presentations!
