Usually the phrase "only available from Currys, Dixons and PC World" sends a bigger shiver up our spine than the memory of Keith Chegwin naked on the telly. However, as well as being good value for money, the GPS 400 manages to pack quite a performance kick. Sub-£200 satnav devices usually only dream of doing that. The customised Destinator satnav software has 2D and 3D views, voice guided directions, dynamic routing (with near instant re-routing), plenty of points of view options, and operates equally as efficiently in pedestrian as it does car mode.    More

In vehicle navigation devices have never been as popular as they are now. Not so long ago driving along with a box attached to your windscreen made you look a bit strange - now, its commonplace. Garmin has been into GPS for longer than most but its forays into the world of portable navigation systems have not always been as successful its fans might have hoped. Its GPS-toting handhelds of both Pocket PC and Palm varieties have taken a while to bed down into usable devices. But with the nüvi, Garmin really does seem to have broken some new ground – in a good way.    More

If there is one technology that is driving handsets sales it is GPS (Global Positioning Systems). While an in-car solution will cost upwards of £2000 as part of a new car installation, the DIY route taken by the DigiWalker and its ilk comes in at a fraction of the cost.    More

With so many Sat Nav devices about it's hard to know which one to choose. A relatively unknown brand - Tibo - wants you to choose its model over anyone else’s.
