Motörheadphönes Iron Fist PC Advisor 11/2012 - Most celebrity-branded headphones come from the hip-hop world, so it's a breath of fresh air to see rock legends Motörhead lending their name to a whole series of cans that look as brutal as the trio's music.

Sennheiser RS 220 MacWorld 6/2012 - Wireless headphones usually come in one of two variants: Bluetooth or RF. The age of mobility has changed the headphone industry radically. Very few users who want to enjoy music from an MP3 player or cellphone nowadays are satisfied with the cheap earbuds that have dominated the market until the late 1990s. The result is that in-ear headphones are becoming increasingly popular. They are inserted directly into the ear canal and sound much more powerful than ordinary earphones. In addition to this, most models are equipped with malleable silicone caps that ensure a comfortable fit. Even more convenient, especially for long listening periods, are circumaural headphones, which encompass not only stereo headphones, studio headphones, DJ headphones and surround earphones, but also computer headsets. Form factor is crucial for the sound quality of all types of headphones. Closed-back models isolate the ear completely and ensure that no sound leaks out. Accordingly, the dynamic bass response will also reduce ambient noise to a minimum. Open-back models offer added comfort - with comparable sound quality – since the ear cups are air permeable. This design is perceived as more pleasant by many users because the earcups don't generate so much heat. In return, the user is less isolated from the outside world. In addition to the form factor, one should pay attention to the shape of the earcups. While supra-aural headphones rest on the ears, circumaural models enclose the entire ear. The latter feature - at least according to popular opinion – makes for the highest wearing comfort. Wireless radio headsets score high in flexibility; however, their range is limited, and especially in cheaper models, sound quality can be affected by static noise created by interference.
