Panasonic TH-42PZ85E
9 out of 10 points
"group test winner"
With the characteristically deep, inky blacks of plasma sets, the TH-42PZ85 offered the best image quality of the bunch, however, AVReview found its design a little bland. Still, for the money, it is a deserved winner of the group test.

LG Electronics 47LG7000
9 out of 10 points
The 47LG700 is a pretty solid TV with good image quality and a number of useful features. AVReview felt it could have done with deeper black levels and perhaps a more sleek design, but all things considered, it is a great set at a good price.
3
Samsung LE46A656A
8 out of 10 points
The 46in model in Samsung's successful A656 range didn't impress AVReview in the way smaller sets have done. Image quality was good and the design is just as stylish as Samsung's other output, however, it just didn't manage to win over their reviewers.
4
Sharp Aquos LC-46X8E
6 out of 10 points
AVReview found the Sharp LC-46X8E to only be an average performer with black levels not reaching the standards set by rivals as well as lacking some of the higher-end features other, more expensive sets can boast. However, it is the cheapest set and although coming out unfavourably compared to the other three sets on test; in isolation, it is still a decent enough set for the price.
